MELISSA IMBROGNO
Melissa is currently finishing up her BA in Acting at Illinois State University through the University's School of Theatre. She is currently interning at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival as a Front of House Assistant. Her most recent work includes a short film titled In The Closet playing "Laura" and "Woman/Bellinda" in This Is How It Goes by Neil Labute. Memorable and favorite roles include, "Medea," in Medea, "Olivia" in Twlefth Night, "Sister in Law" in Yerma, "Rita LaPorta" in Lucky Stiff, "Tituba" in The Crucible, "Mrs. Cratchit" in A Christmas Carol, and "The Stepmother" in Into The Woods as well as various ensemble roles in plays such as Angels of Lemnos and Radio Plays. Melissa has also appeared in a short film, Smell the Roses by Victor Suarez, as the role of "Rose," which had been selected as a finalist throughout various film festivals. She is looking forward to continuing her acting career in the great city of Chicago in less than a year!
